Physicians and Professionals Who Share Your Faith
Kathleen Berchelmann, MD
MyCatholicDoctor Co-Founder
Dr. Berchelmann is a pediatrician, wife and a mother of seven children. She sees patients from birth through young adulthood. After graduating from Amherst college in 1998, she completed a fellowship in medical ethics at Weston Jesuit School of Theology. Kathleen graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2003, and completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. In 2018, Dr. Berchelmann founded MyCatholicDoctor, using telehealth to bridge the geographic distance between the patients and families that want Catholic healthcare and the providers that desire to practice their healing arts with the full voice of their faith. She also holds a part-time position as a pediatric hospitalist at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut, an affiliate of Columbia University School of Medicine. Her practice includes all general pediatric and adolescent medical needs.
Michele Suhie, PhD, NBC-HWC, DipACLM
Director of Health Education
Michele is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional, specializing in the integration of lifestyle medicine, positive psychology and Catholic spirituality. She is also Director of Health Education at MyCatholicDoctor and an adjunct professor at Sacred Heart University. Michele is a certified instructor of mindfulness-based strengths practice (MBSP) through the VIA Institute on Character. She also coordinates the Sunday music ministry as a pianist/vocalist in her parish and has completed advanced catechist training with the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.
